Since 2006, send-a-fish has been supplying customers in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands with fresh fish, seafood and smoked products from its own factory. Sourced directly from the coast, the fish is filleted by hand, refined and packaged on the same day. Thanks to modern refrigeration technology and express shipping, the goods arrive fresh at the customer’s doorstep the very next day. The third generation of the family continues to work according to family tradition in the company’s own smokehouse. Customers can expect a diverse range of products, from fresh and smoked fish to delicatessen items and sushi.
send-a-fish was looking for an experienced partner to relaunch its existing Shopware 6 shop and provide ongoing technical support. In addition to functional weaknesses in the shop, there were also strategic marketing issues to address – both digital and offline. The goal was comprehensive optimisation in terms of technology, user guidance, communication and performance.
We took over the SW6 relaunch, including ongoing technical support, and developed new shop features with a focus on UI/UX optimisation. At the same time, we helped to set up an effective newsletter marketing campaign. In the performance area, we managed campaigns on Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta – accompanied by targeted offline measures such as direct mail and print advertising.
The revamped shop offers clearly structured user guidance and enhanced functions that strengthen customer loyalty and conversion. In online marketing, we achieved a consistent ROAS of over 1000%. The combination of digital campaigns and traditional forms of advertising resulted in a strong multichannel strategy that provides send-a-fish with sustainable support for its growth.
