Sandtler GmbH, based in Bochum, is a long-established supplier of motorsport equipment, vehicle parts and accessories. Its product range includes high-quality products for racing and karting, workshop equipment and sim racing equipment. In addition to its online shop, Sandtler operates a large store with over 400 m² of exhibition space, where customers receive comprehensive advice.
The project started with a clear desire for a modern and individual shop design that clearly stands out from standard solutions. At the same time, there was a high demand for efficient product data management, as a very wide range of products needs to be continuously updated and expanded. The aim was to create a technically powerful solution for online retail, clearly separating the different sales channels from one another in order to ensure transparency for both customers and the company.
As part of the implementation, a new, tailor-made design was developed that both looks modern and strengthens the brand identity. In addition, an import framework was created that enables structured and efficient maintenance of product data. Another key component was the establishment of two independent sales channels, sandtler24 and powersprint, which specifically serve different target groups. The project encompassed both design and technical aspects and was implemented as a comprehensive service.
The introduction of the new system led to a significant increase in online sales and resulted in noticeably faster shop speeds and better overall performance. In addition, internal processes in the area of product data maintenance were optimised in the long term, which makes daily work considerably easier. The new solution not only provides a modern and stable online shop, but also offers a long-term basis for further growth and the expansion of sales channels.
